TRAIL RE-ROUTES / CHANGES

Most changes to the Sydenham Club section of trail since the publication of the 25th edition of the Bruce Trail Reference are shown below. For information about changes to the trail for other Bruce Trail Conservancy Clubs visit the Trail Changes section of the BTC website.

Effective May 6, 2009>> For the PDF version of the Map 29 trail change (below) that includes the map image and text, go to http://brucetrail.org/downloads/0000/0103/Map_29_-_Sydehnam_-_Holland-Sydenham_Townline_-_June_2009.pdf (1.1 MB).

Due to a private landowners wishes the trail between km 14.4 and 16.1 (25th Edition) has been rerouted. At km 14.4 the trail now turns south and follows the 2nd Concession south for 600 metres and then turns west on the Holland Sydenham Townline for another 1 km to join with the present Main Trail on that road.

Route Deleted = 1.7 km <> New Route = 1.6 km <> Trail on Road = 1.6 km
